Question by ash1ey: Want to sell house ads on tv for people to pay cash for quick sale scam?
My husband and I are looking for a quick way to get out of our house. Not really wanting to go through the trouble of fixing it up to show buyers and go through the selling process. Saw an ad on tv for company that buys houses. Are these for real or just another scam? Any advice anyways?

I am a Realtor and can tell you that anyone that advertises that they will pay cash for your home is not telling you that they will pay less than half of what your home is worth. My advise is to hire a good Realtor who will get you the best possible price for your home with the least inconvenience to you. It’s a buyers market out there and you may be surprised!!

Kicking a family out of their house because of unreasonable interest rates and greedy bankers is surely a human rights issue. Does it call for extreme/non-violent action, like squatting your own home??

Because you are trespassing and if you trespass, you will do your squatting from jail, which means your family will either be on the street because you can’t care for them, or they may be split up because children may become state wards and you will have to go through a custody hearing to prove you can care for them.

You need to think this out somemore before you do something you regret.
